VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Noah M. Holcomb
Intern/Volunteer

Professional cyclist Noah Holcomb is an intern and volunteer for the Irvine Ranch Conservancy. In addition to volunteering for the Conservancy, he has been a trail work volunteer for many other organizations since early 2004.

Noah has been volunteering for one organization or another since he was very little. He credits his parents for instilling the value of community service and education at a very young age.

As a professional cyclist and volunteer Noah combines his passion for mountain biking with his love for the land.

"There are many reasons why I enjoy the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmark. Obviously for me, it is riding my bike, but to be able to do so in such a special place is an awesome opportunity," says Noah. “The best part of volunteering with The Irvine Ranch Conservancy is that this area has a great deal of history, and it is very rewarding to know that I am able to keep that history alive through the programs and work that I do here."

Noah grew up in Iowa. After high school he spent a year at the University of Northern Iowa before moving to California to focus on his career as a professional cyclist.

Aside from riding his bike, he also enjoys body boarding, food, wine, and shopping. Noah is also an accomplished marketing specialist and graphic designer. He has a bachelor's degree in recreation from California State University of Long Beach. In addition, he has a certificate in the Management of Nonprofits/Volunteer Services and another in the Administration of Campus Recreation and Student Services.
